What happens during our consultation?

Purpose of consultation:

• Most owners struggle with not truly understanding dogs’ behaviors, such as confusing excitement for reactivity

• Not knowing how to fix said issue

That’s where the consultation comes in

1. Initial Discussion: We discuss your dog’s behavior and your concerns

2. Observation with and without you present

   I observe your dog’s behaviors in both scenarios to get a broader understanding of the issues

3. Breakdown and GamePlan

   I explain what I see and why it is happening

   we build a foundational training routine to address the cause

4. Relationship Focus

   Your dog’s behavior is rooted in your relationship with them

   Unlike other trainers, I teach you how to train your dog

What you’ll learn:

• How to interact with the dog in your home

• How to reinforce good behavior and correct bad behavior

• How to lead your dog on the path to success

For reactive dogs:

• Expect at least 3 months of consistency to achieve true results

• There are no quick fixes, results require effort and commitment

After the consultation

• You’ll receive a guide on training such as Marker training, building engagement and such

• Weekly or bi-weekly sessions available if you need ongoing help

• You can always email or text if you have questions, clarifications or need follow up advice

Prep your dog:

• Don’t feed your dog for at least 12 hours before the session

• Have your dog on leash or in the crate when I arrive
