The Reactive Reset Program is built for dogs and everyday pet parents who want to walk their dog again with more control and guidance as to why the dog is behaving this way and how to reset this behavior. We will teach you how to build engagement and give you the skills necessary going forward with your canine companion.
This class is two 6 weeks courses that will consist of:
➡️One 30-45 min Consultation to discuss what has occurred, and what to expect from our training journey
➡️Three In-Home Private sessions where we will build a solid foundation of general obedience of Focus, Sit, Down, Leave It, Loose Leash Walking, Place, Recall (come when called) and how to read Dog Body Language (approx. 60-90 min each)
➡️Two Public outings where each visit will gradually become more challenging than the last to test and apply your dog’s skills in public (approx. 60-120 min each)
➡️One session at a dog park parking lot (approx. 60-90 min)
➡️Graduation Goal: Walk past dogs at a dog park and show little to no reactions
And then 6 weeks of Advanced Obedience (once a week for 6 weeks)
➡️ Sit/Stay, Down/Stay, Come when called with distractions, Emergency Stop, Settle and more!
➡️ 3 weeks of Private Home Training with no distractions
➡️ 2 sessions of real-world application with distractions
➡️ 1 session in a Pet Friendly store to test their skills
➡️ Graduation Goal: Walk past dogs with no reactions performing Heel and Down/Stay
We will be using multiple training methods and tools to get the best results when training your dog.
